Limited-Time Promotion
"Switch It Up" — HPE Networking Competitive Switch Trade-In
Your current switches are holding your network back. Replace legacy competitor hardware with HPE Networking CX Switches and collect a rebate while you modernize — up to $1,500 USD per switch, 1:1 trade-in.
What the "Switch It Up" Program Offers
Many enterprise networks are built on aging switches that can't handle the demands of AI workloads, Wi-Fi 7, and latency-sensitive applications. HPE Networking's competitive trade-in program removes the financial barrier to modernizing your switching infrastructure.
For a limited time, organizations that purchase new HPE Networking CX Switches to replace select competitor switches are eligible to receive a cash rebate — paid in USD or equivalent local currency — for every switch traded in on a 1:1 basis.
- Up to $1,500 USD rebate per eligible switch
- 1:1 trade-in ratio — one old switch, one new switch
- Choose self-decommission or HPE's secure recycling program
- Rebates paid in USD or equivalent local currency
- All devices must be returned within 180 days of application approval
Program overview: apply before purchase, then submit your claim after delivery.
Why HPE Networking CX Switches
The CX switch line is purpose-built for the demands of modern networks — from AI-driven workloads to zero-trust security architectures. Here's what your organization gains on day one:
AI-Ready, Line-Rate Performance
Handle AI workloads, Wi-Fi 7 (and future Wi-Fi 8), and high-density, latency-sensitive applications without bottlenecks — thanks to high-density, ruggedized form factors built for today's traffic patterns.
Built-In Resiliency and Uptime
In-service software upgrades, virtual switch upgrades, and hot-swappable power supplies eliminate planned downtime windows. Your network stays up while the infrastructure evolves.
Real-Time Network Intelligence
Built-in network analytics engines deliver real-time insights, alarms, and agent-based actions — shifting your team from reactive troubleshooting to proactive operations.
AI-Powered Operations with Marvis Copilot
HPE Marvis Copilot serves as your AI assistant across HPE Aruba Central — automating root-cause analysis and day-to-day network operations so your team can focus on what matters.
Zero Trust Security Built In
Application visibility and control, colorless port controls, MACSec, and TLS 1.3 are delivered directly on the switch — no additional appliances required to build a zero-trust architecture.
How the Trade-In Process Works
The program runs in two phases. Before you purchase, we apply on your behalf. After delivery, we convert the application to a claim and arrange pickup — so you simply enjoy the upgrade and the rebate.
Phase 1 — Apply to Participate (Before Purchase)
We Create Your Quote
We will create a quote for you specifying the new HPE CX products and the corresponding trade-in (used) products you'll return.
We Submit the Application
We handle the application for you — submitting the Deal/Offer ID, addresses, device names, and serial numbers to the HPE trade-in portal for approval. All we need from you are your device details.
Receive HPE Approval
HPE confirms eligibility and the final trade-in allowance. Note: an approved quote number is required. Submissions without one will be rejected.
Purchase & Take Delivery
Complete your purchase and take delivery of the new HPE CX switches. Discounting levels may exclude Trade-In rebates — confirm with your specialist.
Phase 2 — Submit the Claim (After Delivery)
We Convert It to a Claim
Once you've taken delivery, we convert the application to a claim using your invoice, serial and product numbers. Just share the return product dimensions and weights so collection can be scheduled.
Schedule Pickup & Return
Provide pickup address and any special instructions. Choose self-decommission or HPE's secure global recycling program. All devices must be returned within 180 days of approval.
Receive Your Rebate
After HPE receives and validates the returned equipment, your rebate is issued via bank transfer. Public sector customers receive credit rebates through their resellers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which HPE CX switches are eligible for this trade-in program?

Which competitor switches are eligible for trade-in?
Select competitor switches from major networking vendors qualify. The specific eligible models are defined by HPE's program guidelines. Our specialists can confirm eligibility for your current equipment before you apply.
How is the rebate paid?
Rebates are paid via bank transfer in US Dollars or the equivalent in local currency. Public sector customers receive credit rebates through their resellers, at the discretion of and per agreed-upon terms with the reseller.
Can we self-decommission and dispose of our old switches?
Yes. You have the choice to self-decommission your legacy switches or use HPE's secure, globally consistent recycling program — which handles disposal in an environmentally responsible manner and protects your data.
What happens if our deal discount is too high?
Customer discounting levels may exclude the ability to include Trade-In rebates. Any discount modifications after initial approval will rescind the approval and require resubmission. Speak with our team before finalizing pricing to ensure compatibility.
How long do we have to return the trade-in equipment?
All trade-in devices must be returned to the HPE processing center within 180 days of application approval. Rebate payment is issued after receipt and validation of the returned equipment.
