General Rule: 1 sensor per 5–10 access points provides comprehensive coverage. Typically, expect a ratio of one sensor for every 6 to 24 Access Points, depending on your environment.

• SMB/Enterprise: 1–2 sensors per open-plan working area, 1 per conference room, 1 per remote branch
• K-12 Schools: 1–3 sensors in the hallway of each school floor, 1 per large classroom, 1 per cafeteria, 1–2 per library
• Higher Education: 1–3 sensors per floor, 1–2 per study area, 1 per lab, 1–2 per sports facility

Installation Best Practices: Place sensors where users congregate, with good Wi-Fi coverage, 5 ft (1.5 m) from nearest AP, at 4–5 ft height, away from obstructions, indoors (32–95°F).
